We are thrilled to announce that our post-doctoral researcher, Dr. Maitreyee Sharma, has been awarded this year’s Mark O. Robbins Prize for Future Faculty in High-Performance Computing. In a very competitive round of nominations, her remarkable achievements in research and mentorship stand out. The prize includes an allocation of compute hours at the Maryland Advanced Research Computing Center (MARCC). This fall, Maitreyee will join Virginia Tech’s highly-ranked Aerospace Engineering Department as she embarks on a tenure-track faculty position. We are immensely proud of her success!
